How to Delete a Group in System Center Essentials

Use the following procedure to delete a group in Essentials 2007.

Deleting a group does not delete its subgroup. The subgroups must be deleted individually.

To delete a group

In the Essentials 2007 console, click the Authoring button.
In the Authoring pane, expand Authoring, and then click Groups.
In the Groups pane, right-click the group you want to delete, and then click Delete.
On the Confirm Group Delete message, click Yes.
