How to Subscribe to a Notification

In System Center Essentials 2010, after a notification is configured by an administrator, users that have the Operator user role can subscribe to the notification.

To subscribe to a notification

In the Essentials console, expand the Tools menu, and then click My Recipient Information.
If you want to create a schedule to control when you receive notifications you receive subscription click Only send notification during specified times and configure a date range. Otherwise click Next.
Click the Notification Devices tab.
Click Add to start the Create Notification Device Wizard.
Click Email in the notification channel section.
Type an e-mail address. For example, type email@contoso.com.
Click Schedule, leave the default settings, and then click Next.
Type a name in the Notification device name box.
Click Finish, and then click OK.
