Use this page of the Create Rule wizard to define the application log data source for your rule.
The Application Log Data Source page contains the elements described in the following table.

Not visible for all rule types. Specifies the character that separates columns in the log. |

UTF8 |
Specifies that UTF8 encoding be used, rather than the default UTF16. |
