How to Remove a Certificate That Was Imported with the MOMCertImport Tool

Use the MOMCertImport tool to edit the registry and remove certificates that have been imported.

Caution
Incorrectly editing the registry can severely damage your system. Before making changes to the registry, you should back up any important data.

To remove a certificate that was imported with the MOMCertImport tool

Log on to the computer with an account that is a member of the Administrators group.
On the Windows desktop, click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
On the Registry Editor page, expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, expand SOFTWARE, expand Microsoft, expand Microsoft Operations Manager, expand 3.0, and then click Machine Settings.
In the results pane, right-click ChannelCertificateSerialNumber, and then click Modify.
In the Edit Binary Value dialog box, select the binary data, and then press Delete.
