The following elements appear on the Application page of the Exchange Model Wizard.
- Mailbox Servers
- Select one of the following types of Mailbox Server
- Mailbox Servers without clustering or local replication
- Indicates that the mailbox is not clustered and it does not use any replication.
- Mailbox Servers with Local Continuous Replication
- Indicates that local continuous replication (LCR) is used.
- Clustered Mailbox Servers in Single Copy Clusters
- Indicates that single copy clustering (SCC) is used.
- Clustered Mailbox Servers with Cluster Continuous Replication
- Indicates that cluster continuous replication (CCR) clustering is used.
- How many datacenters do you want for Standby Continuous Replication?
- Indicates whether additional passive servers are created for a
Mailbox server role when LCR is used.
- No replication
Indicates that standby continuous replication (SCR) is not used.
- 1 standby datacenter
Indicates that one standby datacenter is replicated to.
- 2 standby datacenters
Indicates that two standby datacenters are replicated to.
- No replication
- Other Server Types
- Specify options for increased fault tolerance.
- Do you want to deploy additional Client Access Servers for increased fault tolerance?
- Indicates whether a passive Client Access server should be created in each Mailbox site for failover.
- Do you want to deploy additional Edge Transport Servers for increased fault tolerance?
- Indicates whether a passive Edge Transport server should be created in each Mailbox site for failover.
- Do you want to deploy additional Hub Transport Servers for increased fault tolerance?
- Indicates whether a passive Hub Transport server should be created in each Mailbox site for failover.
