In Configuration Manager, the GetImageProperties Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) class method reads all metadata from the specified .wim source file for an image to an XML string.

The following syntax is simplified from Managed Object Format (MOF) code and defines the method.

	String SourceImagePath,
	String ImageProperty

Data type: StringQualifiers: [in]Path to the .wim source file to query for metadata, for example, \\server\share\boot.wim.

Data type: StringQualifiers: [out]XML document containing the image metadata.

Return Values

An SInt32 data type that is 0 to indicate success or non-zero to indicate failure.

For information about handling returned errors, see About Configuration Manager Errors.
