You can use the Runbook Designer Configuration dialog box to configure options for the Runbook Designer.

To configure Runbook Designer options

Select the Options menu, and then click Configure. The Runbook Designer Configuration dialog box appears.

Select the Configuration Options that you want to use.

Click Finish.

Show link labels |
Display the name of each link. This text comes from the Name field on the General tab of the link’s Properties dialog box. |

Show tooltips |
Display tooltips when you hover your cursor over an object in a runbook. This text comes from the Description field on the General tab of the object’s Properties dialog box. |

Automatic checkout |
Automatically check out a runbook when you begin to edit it. If not selected, you are prompted whether you want to check out the runbook. |

Prompt for comment on check in |
Display the Comment dialog box when you check in a runbook. |

Allow empty comment on check in |
Allows you to leave the comment blank. |
