Acknowledge Message
The Acknowledge Message object acknowledges messages in OpenView Operations signifying that a message has been addressed. Once acknowledged, a message will not be visible in the OpenView Operations console. You can also use the Acknowledge Message operator to unacknowledged a message.
How it is used
The Acknowledge Message object can be used to close an OpenView Operations message after a Policy has performed diagnostics and determined that the message is a false positive.
To configure the Acknowledge Message object you need to know the OpenView Operations server you are connecting to and the message that you are acknowledging.
