Role summary

This topic summarizes the roles in Delegated Administration Console, and the tasks those roles can perform. For more information about roles, see Understanding roles and privileges.

Domain administrators

Domain administrators can perform all tasks in Delegated Administration Console for the hosting organization and can use all Config Center features.

Service provider administrators

Service provider administrators can manage the hosting organization and all reseller and customer organizations. They can use all Config Center features, except that they cannot register IIS resources.

Service provider customer service representatives (CSRs)

Service provider CSRs can manage all reseller and customer organizations. They cannot manage the hosting organization or access Config Center features.

Reseller administrators

Reseller administrators can manage their own organization and all of the customer organizations that it contains. They cannot access Config Center features.

Reseller CSRs

Reseller CSRs can manage customer organizations contained by their own organization. They cannot manage their own organization or access Config Center features.

Organization administrators

Organization administrators can manage their own organization, except they cannot perform the following tasks:
