To configure service plans

Step 1. Enable services

  1. On the Delegated Administration Console menu bar, click Config Center.
  2. In the center of the page, click Configure Plans and Services.
  3. In the left pane, click Manage Services.
  4. The list of available services appears. By default, this list comprises the services that are installed with Microsoft Provisioning System. You can create a service plan that includes any service marked Enabled.

  5. Verify that all of the services you want to include in a service plan are enabled. If so, skip to "Step 2. Configure plans." If not, click the name of the service to enable, and then, in the Tasks pane, click Enable Service.

Step 2. Configure plans

  1. In the navigation bar, click PLANS AND SERVICES.
  2. In the left navigation pane, click Create Plan.
  3. In Plan name, type a name for the plan.
  4. In Plan description, type a description of the plan.
  5. In the Available services list, select the check boxes of the services to include in this plan.
  6. When finished, click Create.
  7. On the Set Service Properties page, information about the properties configured for each service is displayed in the Property Value boxes.

  8. Configure properties for each service included in the plan, as shown in the following table, and then click Save.
  9. Service Property Description
    Exchange MailStoreSize Disk space in megabytes (MB) to be allocated on the mailbox store for an organization's mailboxes.
    Exchange SharedMailStore Specifies whether an organization's mailboxes will be stored in a shared or dedicated mailbox store. "True" specifies a shared mailbox store. "False" specifies a dedicated mailbox store.
    FTP DiskSize Disk space, in megabytes (MB), to be allocated for File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site content.
    IIS: Shared IP DiskSize Disk space, in megabytes (MB), to be allocated for Web site content for a Web site that has a shared Internet Protocol (IP) address.
    IIS: Dedicated IP DiskSize Disk space, in megabytes (MB), to be allocated for Web site content for a Web site that has a dedicated IP address.

    The service plan now appears in the list of current plans that you can make available for resellers and customers, as described in "Set up a new reseller organization" and "Set up a new customer organization" in Related Topics. Repeat this procedure for any additional plans you want to create.
