Modifying the Managed Computers List

Agent Managers are responsible for installing and uninstalling agents on computers that match the Managed Computer rules. You can modify the Managed Computer rules, which modify the Managed Computers list.

To modify the Managed Computer rules:

  1. Expand Configuration in the left pane.
  2. Click Agent Managers in the left pane.
  3. In the right pane, click the Agent Manager with the Managed Computer rules you want to modify.
  4. Click Action on the menu bar.
  5. Click Properties on the Action menu.
  6. On the Managed Computer Rules tab, specify the desired values.
  7. Click Apply.
  8. If you want the rules to take effect immediately, complete the following steps. Otherwise, the rules will take effect at the next scheduled Managed Computer scan.
  9. Click Pending Installations in the left pane.
  10. Click Action on the menu bar.
  11. Click Refresh on the Action menu to view results of the scan.
