Configuring Global Agent Manager Settings

You can configure settings for all Agent Managers in the configuration group. These settings specify the agent service account and the Managed Computer scan settings. You can also specify how Agent Managers deploy agents, including whether agents are installed automatically or are added to the Pending Installations list to wait for approval. You can also specify the uninstall delay, the amount of time the Agent Manager waits before uninstalling an unnecessary agent.

To configure global Agent Manager settings:

  1. Expand Microsoft Operations Manager (default) in the left pane.
  2. Expand Configuration in the left pane.
  3. Click Global Settings in the left pane.
  4. Click Action on the menu bar.
  5. Click Edit Agent Manager Settings on the Action menu.
  6. Specify the desired settings, and then click OK.
