This alert is generated when at least one recovery job in a recovery collection successfully recovered the requested data.
Causes
Review the alert details in Data Protection Manager (DPM) Administrator Console, and take the appropriate action.
This alert is raised only for recovery of data in protected volumes and shares on file servers and workstations.
Possible causes for the alert include the following:
- DPM was unable to copy data to the specified recovery
destination.
- The default recovery destination no longer exists or cannot be
accessed.
Resolutions
The error conditions and recommended actions associated with each “Recovery partially successful” alert are provided in the alert details.
- On the DPM server, review the alert details in the
Monitoring task area of DPM Administrator Console, and
perform the recommended action.
- In the alert details, make sure that the file is not already
present and in use at the specified recovery destination and that
there is sufficient disk space for the files.
- Start a new recovery job for the data that DPM failed to
recover.

Resolved when: A job completes successfully.
DPM automatically marks the alert as inactive seven days after the recovery job has completed.
