This alert is generated when the specified replica on the DPM server is currently being synchronized with consistency check. A consistency check can be started automatically or manually.

Causes

Causes for this alert include the following:

  • When you add a replica to a protection group, after the initial replication, DPM marks the replica as inconsistent so that verification can take place.

  • DPM has not completed synchronizing and verifying the replica.

Resolutions

Follow the recommended action in the alert to start either an automatic or a manual consistency check.

  • Automatic consistency checks are scheduled in the Protection task area by selecting the Optimize performance action.

  • Manual consistency checks are initiated by an administrator in the Protection task area by selecting the Create recovery point action.

Resolved when: Verification is complete.
