This alert is generated when the specified replica on the DPM server is currently being synchronized with consistency check. A consistency check can be started automatically or manually.
Causes
Causes for this alert include the following:
- When you add a replica to a protection group, after the initial
replication, DPM marks the replica as inconsistent so that
verification can take place.
- DPM has not completed synchronizing and verifying the
replica.
Resolutions
The error conditions and recommended actions associated with each “Replica not synchronized, verification in progress” alert are provided in the alert details.
Follow the recommended action in the alert to start either an automatic or a manual consistency check.
- Automatic consistency checks are scheduled in the
Protection task area by selecting the Optimize
performance action.
- Manual consistency checks are initiated by an administrator in
the Protection task area by selecting the Create recovery
point action.
