The results pane appears in the upper center area of the System Center Updates Publisher console when a <vendor name> or <product name> console tree node is selected. When a <vendor name> console tree node is selected, the names for all products associated with the vendor display in the results pane. When a <product name> console tree node is selected, all software updates definitions associated with the product display in the results pane with their attributes, as described in the following table.

Attribute Description

Article ID

Specifies the ID for the article that contains more information about the software update.

Name

Specifies the name for the software update.

Severity

Specifies the severity for the software update. The available severity values are None, Critical, Important, Moderate, or Low.

Type

Specifies the classification type for the software update. The available classifications are Critical Updates, Feature Packs, Updates, Security Updates, Service Packs, Hotfixes, Tools, and Update Rollups.

Creation Date

Specifies the creation date for the software update.

Language

Specifies the language for the software update.

Publish

Specifies whether the software update has been approved for publishing. A green flag icon indicates that an update has been approved.

Publish Type

Specifies the publish type, Full Content or Metadata Only, for software updates that have been approved for publishing.

Note
This setting applies only to Updates Publisher 4.5.

Expire

Specifies whether the software update is expired.

To sort items displayed in the results pane, click the respective column.
