HKUSERSuseDefaultOverscaMargins
specifies whether
to use the default overscan margins for all user accounts.
Values
true |
Use overscan margins that are optimized for using Windows® Media Center on a television for all user accounts. |
false |
Use overscan margins that are optimized for using Windows Media Center on a personal computer for all user accounts. This is the default value. |
Note |
---|
We recommend enabling the
HKUSERSuseDefaultOverscaMargins setting on personal
computers so that the edges of the Windows Media Center are
not cut off by the bezel of the television. Microsoft does not
recommend adjustment on computers designed to be connected
primarily to a monitor because the adjustment is not needed, and it
results in minor visual artifacts along the edges of the
screen. |
