Use the Package Identification page in the Configuration Manager 2007 Distribute Software Wizard to specify the general information for a new program being created within the new package.

The name of the package, which can contain up to 50 characters. This field is required. |

The version number of the package, which can contain up to 32 characters. |

Publisher |
The software publisher of the package, which can contain up to 32 characters. |

The language version of the software package, which can contain up to 32 characters. |

Comment |
Optional text about the package, such as a description. You can use up to 127 characters. |

Previous |
Goes to the previous page of the wizard. |

Goes to the next page of the wizard. |

Goes to the Summary page of the wizard. |

Cancel |
Discards the settings, and exits the wizard. |
