Use the Hardware Inventory tab of the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Mobile Device Client Agent properties dialog box to enable and configure hardware inventory on device clients.
This tab contains the following elements:
- Enable hardware inventory on Device Clients
- Enables hardware inventory for all mobile device clients belonging to the site. When you select this check box, hardware inventory is enabled on the mobile device and runs according to the schedule specified.
- Hardware inventory schedule
- Runs the hardware inventory at a single, specific interval.
- Run every:
- Specifies the number and type of time units (minutes, hours, days, weeks, months) in the schedule. You can specify 1 to 59 minutes, 1 to 23 hours, 1 to 30 days, 1 to 4 weeks, or 1 to 12 months. By default, this interval is set to 1 day.
- OK
- Saves the changes and exits the dialog box.
- Cancel
- Exits the dialog box without saving any changes.
- Apply
- Saves the changes and remains in the dialog box.
