You can reset the message count on any component or site system. Message counts are automatically reset at the end of threshold periods, but you can reset them manually after you correct a problem to clear its Critical or Warning status.

Note
You must manually refresh the view of a component or site system to immediately view changes initiated by resetting a count.

To reset status message counts

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Site Status.

  2. In the Configuration Manager console tree, right-click Site Status.

  3. Click Reset Counts, and then click the type of count to reset.
