How to Rename a Configuration Baseline in Desired Configuration Management

To rename a configuration baseline in Configuration Manager 2007, edit its properties.

To rename a configuration baseline

In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Desired Configuration Management / Configuration Baselines.
Right-click the configuration baseline you want to rename, and click Properties.

Note

If you cannot immediately see the configuration baseline you want to edit, you can use the columns to help you locate it by sorting on one of its properties, such as name or category.
On the General tab, type in your preferred name in the Name option and click OK.
