Select update list

Specifies that the selected software updates are added to an existing update list. Click Browse to open the Select an update list dialog box, which lists all previously created update lists. When an update list is highlighted, the description is displayed. Select the update list to be used and click OK.

Create a new update list

Specifies that the selected software updates are added to a new update list. The following properties are configured as part of the update list:

Name: Specifies the name for the update list. The name must be unique and should help to describe the software updates contained in the update list.

Description: Specifies the description for the update list. The description should provide an overview of what software updates are contained in the update list and information that helps to identify it among others in the Update List node of the Configuration Manager console.

Download the files associated with the selected software updates

Specifies whether the software updates that were selected prior to running the wizard should be downloaded to a package shared folder on the distribution points. By default, this setting is not enabled.

When enabled, the Deployment Package and Download Location pages are displayed in the wizard to configure the package information.

Goes to the previous page of the wizard.

Next

Goes to the next page of the wizard.

Finish

Goes to the Summary page of the wizard.

Cancel

Discards the settings and exits the wizard.
