The General tab of the Selected Driver Properties dialog box displays information about Windows device drivers that have been imported into the driver catalog. This tab also displays general device driver information and the supported hardware.

Specifies a descriptive name for the device driver. |

Specifies an optional description for the device driver. |

Driver Source |
Specifies the device driver source by clicking Browse. Locate the directory that contains the device driver source in the Browse for Folder dialog box. |

Enable this driver and allow computers to install it |
Enables the device driver and makes it available for computers to install it. The device driver must be enabled and available on a distribution point for computers to install it. |

Categories |
Opens the Categories dialog box where you can assign a device driver to a category for filtering purposes. The available categories are listed in the Available Categories pane. To add a new category, type the name in the Add a new category box, and then click Add. |
