After a branch distribution point has been deployed using Configuration Manager 2007, those points are treated similarly to standard distribution points when distributing a package.

To distribute a package to a branch distribution point

In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Software Distribution / Packages.

Right-click the specific package you want to distribute, and then click Manage Distribution Points.

Use the Manage Distribution Points Wizard to specify how you want to distribute the package to the distribution point.
