Use the General tab of the Configuration Manager 2007 Software Distribution Properties dialog box to specify package storage and distribution settings.
The General tab contains the following elements:
- Drive on site server
- Specifies the drive location on the local site server where
packages (package source files) are stored. If the package source
files are compressed, this drive must be in the NTFS format, as the
FAT configuration will not properly store the compressed files.
NoteThe package source folder on the site server is not the same as the package source folder located on distribution points.
