Use the Update List Wizard in Configuration Manager 2007 to add software updates to a new or existing update list. After the new update list is created, it is displayed in the Update List node of the Configuration Manager console. Update lists are used to initiate a deployment for the software updates defined in the list. - Specifies the package that will be used to host the software updates in the deployment. The Deployment Package page only displays if the Download the files associated with the selected software updates setting is enabled on the Update List page.

- Displays the distribution points used to host the software update package defined in the deployment. The Distribution Points page only displays if a new deployment package is used to host the software updates in the update list.

- Specifies the distribution points used to host the software update packages defined in the deployment. The Add Distribution Points dialog box only displays when adding distribution points to the deployment package.
- Deploy Software Updates Wizard: Download Location Page
- Specifies whether the software updates in the deployment should be downloaded from the Internet or from the local network. The Download Location page only displays if the Download the files associated with the selected software updates setting is enabled on the Update List page.

- Specifies the languages that are downloaded for the software updates in the deployment.
