Use the Configuration Manager 2007 Enter Group or User Name dialog box to specify Windows user names or groups to include in the validation of object permissions.
This dialog box contains the following elements:
- Enter the Group or User Name
- Specify the Windows user or group name you want to configure
security permissions for in the form DOMAIN\USER.
NoteIf you are specifying the name of a built in group or user, use the form BUILTIN\USER.
- Select the type of access control for this group or user
- Specify whether you want to configure Allow or Deny permissions for this group or user:Allow specifies that the selected group or user is configured to allow the security permission.Deny specifies that the selected group or user is configured to deny the security permission.
