Use this tab to add a new Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 class security right for a user.

| For these Configuration Manager 2007 rights to be effective, the user must be a member of the SMS Admins group on the SMS Provider computer. Adding user rights through the Object Class Security Right Properties dialog box or the Object Instance Security Right Properties dialog box does not give the user or group the necessary membership in SMS Admins. |
The General tab contains the following elements:
- Account
- Indicates the user account you are modifying.
- User Name
- Indicates the user account you are modifying.
- Class
- Specifies the class of rights.
- Instance
- You cannot set individual instances for the Object Class Security Rights properties. To change the instances, use the Object Instance Security Rights properties.
- Rights
- Shows the list of rights that are available with the selected Class. Rights vary from class to class.
- OK
- Saves the changes and exits the dialog box.
- Cancel
- Exits the dialog box without saving any changes.
- Apply
- Saves the changes and remains in the dialog box.
