Multilingual sites are installed and upgraded in the same manner as U.S. English sites. The only significant difference between installing the two types of sites is that additional planning is required when you consider creating a mixed-language hierarchy.
U.S. English sites with ICPs applied differ somewhat from localized sites because the number of possible client languages are increased. With ICP2, a single U.S. English site server can support 22 localized client languages. For additional information about planning and installing ICPs, see Tasks for International and Multi-Language Configuration Manager Clients.
