Use the Accounts tab of the Configuration Manager 2007 Client Push Installation Properties dialog box to specify a list of Windows user accounts which can be used to install the Configuration Manager 2007 client on computers in your site.
To successfully install the Configuration Manager 2007 client, the Windows user account used must have administrative rights on the destination computer. If the install fails with all accounts in the list then the installation will be attempted using the computer account from the Configuration Manager 2007 site server.
This tab contains the following elements:
- Client Push Installation accounts:
- Displays a list of the currently specified client push connection accounts. Client installation will attempt to use each of these accounts in order, until it finds an account with sufficient rights.
- New
- Click to open the Windows User Account dialog box, which
allows you to specify a new client push installation account.
Important The password for the client push installation account is limited to 38 characters or less.
- Delete
- Click to delete the selected Windows user account from the list.
- Move up
- Moves the selected client push installation account up one place in the accounts list.
- Move down
- Moves the selected client push installation account up one place in the accounts list.
- OK
- Saves the changes and exits the dialog box.
- Cancel
- Exits the dialog box without saving any changes.
- Apply
- Saves the changes and remains in the dialog box.
- Help
- Opens the help topic for this tab of the dialog box.
