Use the General tab of the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 mobile device configuration package properties dialog box to specify the general properties of the configuration package.
- Name
- Specifies the name of the configuration package for mobile devices. The name should be unique and descriptive and can include up to 50 characters
- Version
- Specifies the version of the configuration package. The version can include up to 32 characters.
- Manufacturer
- Specifies the software publisher of the configuration package.
- Language
- Specifies the supported language for the software update and can include up to 32 characters.
- Comment
- Specifies comments about the configuration package up to 127 characters.
- OK
- Saves the changes and exits the dialog box.
- Cancel
- Exits the dialog box without saving any changes.
- Apply
- Saves the changes and remains in the dialog box.
- Help
- Opens the help topic for this tab of the dialog box.
