Use the Distribution Points page in the Configuration Manager 2007 New Advertisement Wizard to specify how to deliver and run the content for the new advertisement, depending on the type of boundary to which the client computer is connected.
Important |
---|
Selecting the Download content from distribution point and run locally option is strongly recommended for greatest security. When this option is selected, the package is hashed so that Configuration Manager 2007 can ensure package integrity. When the Run program from distribution point option is selected, the package hash is not verified prior to running the specified program and package integrity cannot be ensured, because it is possible for users with administrative rights to alter or tamper with package contents. |
