Create Windows Vista Deployment collection in this collection

Specifies if Configuration Manager 2007 should create a sub collection of an existing collection. Click Browse to open the Browse Collection dialog box. Select the collection that should be evaluated for computers that will be included in the new Vista Deployment collection by selecting the desired collection and clicking OK to close the dialog box.

System Requirements

Select this option to filter the selection criteria system requirements for computers that will be added to the new collection.

Note

You do not need to specify any selection criteria to complete this wizard. However, if you do not specify any selection criteria the collection will initially contain no members. To add members you must update the associated collection membership rules after you create the collection. Select Minimum System Requirements to only include computers that meet the Windows Vista minimum system requirements.

Select Recommended System Requirements to only include computers that meet the recommended Windows Vista system requirements.

Device Driver Availability

Select this option to configure how computers will determine device driver availability.

Select Available in Windows Vista to only include computers that require device drivers that are available in Windows Vista. If you select this option computers will only install device drivers available from the installation source location.

Select Available in the Driver Catalog or in Windows Vista to include computers that require device drivers that are available in the driver catalog or in Windows Vista installation source.

Application Compatibility Toolkit Status

Select this option to configure the ACT status level required for inclusion in the new collection.

Select Windows Vista Ready to include only computers that have a status level that meet Windows Vista application compatibility requirements.

Select Action Requireds to include computers that meet or have minor compatibility issues as determined by ACT to meet Windows Vista application compatibility requirements.
