Use the Copy Package page in the Configuration Manager 2007 Manage Distribution Points Wizard to specify the distribution point or points to which you want to copy the package data.

The listing of distribution points on this page is case sensitive. As a result, if a distribution point has been renamed or re-created, it may not appear on this list if the case does not match the original distribution point entry.

Name Description

Distribution points

Specifies the distribution points on which the package is not currently located. Multiple distribution points can be selected.

The following columns are displayed for distribution points in the list:

  • Name: Specifies the name of the specific distribution point.

  • Site: Specifies the name of the site on which the distribution point resides.

  • Type: Specifies the type of site on which the distribution point resides.

Three buttons are available for selecting distribution points from the list:

  • Select All: Selects all distribution points displayed in the list.

  • Clear All: Clears all distribution points displayed in the list.

  • Select Group: Opens the Browse Distribution Point Groups dialog box, allowing you to select a distribution point group to which the package will be copied.

Goes to the previous page of the wizard.

Next

Goes to the next page of the wizard.

Finish

Goes to the Summary page of the wizard.

Cancel

Discards the settings and exits the wizard.
