In order to delete a package account, you must have Modify permissions for the Package security object. For more information about security permissions, see Classes and Instances for Object Security in Configuration Manager.

To delete a package access account

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Software Distribution / Packages.

  2. Expand to the package for which you want to delete the access account.

  3. Click Access Accounts, right-click the account you want to delete in the results pane, and then click Delete.

  4. Click Yes to confirm that you want to delete the selected account.
