Use the Configuration Manager 2007 R2 Report Parameters dialog box to specify or edit the parameters used by the report.

This dialog box contains the following elements:
- Parameters window
- Displays the report parameters currently configured for the report.
- Add
- Click to add a new report parameter to this report.
- Delete
- Click to delete the currently selected report parameter.
- Parameter Name
- Displays the name of the currently selected report parameter.
- Prompt Text
- Specifies the text displayed to the user to prompt for a value for this report parameter.
- Valid Values
- Select this check box if you want to define valid values for this report parameter in the Valid Values section of the Report Parameters dialog box.
- Allow Blank
- Select this check box if you want to allow the user to supply a blank value for this report parameter.
- Query Based
- Select this check box if you want to use the results from a SQL query to specify the valid values for this report parameter.
- Static List
- Select this check box if you want to specify a list of possible values for this report parameter.
- Dataset Name
- Specifies the dataset name to use to return the list of possible values for this report parameter. This option is available if you have specified to use a SQL query to return valid values for this report parameter.
- Value field
- Specifies the value field to use to return the list of possible values for this report parameter. This option is available if you have specified to use a SQL query to return valid values for this report parameter.
- Label field
- Specifies the label field to use to return the list of possible values for this report parameter. This option is available if you have specified to use a SQL query to return valid values for this report parameter.
- Value and label list
- Specify a list of labels and values to use as values for the report parameter. This option is available if you have specified to use a static list for this report parameter.
- OK
- Saves the changes, and exits the dialog box.
- Cancel
- Exits the dialog box without saving any changes.
- Help
- Opens the help topic for this dialog box.
