This section provides troubleshooting information to help you resolve the issue of the Policies node not displaying in the Configuration Manager 2007 console.

Network Access Protection is not Enabled for the Site

The site must be enabled for the Network Access Protection node, and its child node of Policies to display in the Configuration Manager console.

Solution

Enable the Network Access Protection client agent on the site. For more information, see How to Enable the Network Access Protection Client Agent.

The Configuration Manager Console Requires a Refresh

Information displayed in the Configuration Manager console does not automatically refresh. For more information, see About Latency in the Configuration Manager Console.

Solution

Click the Network Access Protection node, and then press F5.
