Use the Configuration Manager 2007 Confirm Deletion dialog box to specify whether or not, after reviewing the effects, you want to keep or delete the configuration baseline or the configuration item.
This dialog box contains the following elements:
- Name
- Displays the name of the selected configuration baseline or configuration item.
- Version
- Displays the version number of the selected configuration baseline or configuration item.
- Description
- Displays the description of the selected configuration baseline or configuration item.
- Show/Hide
- Specifies whether or not to display the effects of deleting the selected configuration baseline or configuration item.
- Assignments
- Displays any assignments that will be deleted if you delete the selected configuration baseline.This tab is visible if the Show button has been pressed and you are reviewing the effects of deleting a configuration baseline.
- Dependent Baselines
- Displays any configuration baselines that have dependencies to the selected configuration baseline and will be updated if you delete the selected configuration baseline or configuration item.This tab is visible if the Show button has been pressed and you are reviewing the effects of deleting a configuration baseline or a configuration item.
- Child Items
- Displays any child configuration items which will also be deleted if you delete the selected configuration item.This tab is visible if the Show button has been pressed and you are reviewing the effects of deleting a configuration item.
- OK
- Saves the changes and exits the dialog box.
- Cancel
- Exits the dialog box without saving any changes.
- Help
- Opens the help topic for this dialog box.
