Use the AMT User Account Setting dialog box to specify a Windows user account or domain global security group that has permissions to perform the selected management activities on AMT-based computers, by using the out of band management console.

If you are running Configuration Manager 2007 SP1, the following elements are displayed.

Account or security group

Specifies the Windows user account or domain global security group that will manage computers that are provisioning for AMT with Configuration Manager 2007 SP1 or later, using the selected management activities.Click Browse, or type in the account using the syntax <domain>\<name>.This option is not selected by default.
Media Redirection

Selects or cancels the administrative permission to redirect the computer to boot from media.This option is not selected by default.
Hardware Information

Selects or cancels this administrative permission to enumerate the names of hardware asset types supported by AMT-based computers.This option is not selected by default.
Data Storage

Selects or cancels this administrative permission to allocate, use, and manage blocks of nonvolatile storage in the management controller.This option is not selected by default.
Data Storage Administration

Selects or cancels this administrative permission to reconfigure the global parameters that govern allocation and use of nonvolatile storage in the management controller.This option is not selected by default.
Agent Presence Remote

Selects or cancels this administrative permission to register services that allow tracking of heartbeat events and agent states.This option is not selected by default.
Network Time

Selects or cancels this administrative permission to configure the time on AMT-based computers.This option is not selected by default.
Firmware Update

Selects or cancels this administrative permission to enable firmware updates with tools supplied by Intel or your computer manufacturer.This option is not selected by default.
PT Administration

Selects or cancels this administrative permission to all AMT-based services.This option is not selected by default.
Remote Control

Selects or cancels the administrative permission to use power control options such as power on and power off.This option is not selected by default.
Event Log Manager

Selects or cancels the administrative permission to manage AMT event logs that you can view by using the out of band management console.This option is not selected by default.
