During the Configuration Manager 2007 hierarchy deployment phase, the addresses and senders necessary for site-to-site communications within the Configuration Manager 2007 hierarchy are created. After deployment, site communications can be configured to optimize communications, reduce network traffic between sites, or change the type of sender used.
Existing addresses and senders can be viewed and modified from within the Configuration Manager console by navigating to the following locations:
- For address configuration, navigate to
System Center Configuration Manager / Site
Database / Site Management / <site code> -
<site name> / Site Settings /
Addresses.
- For sender configuration, navigate to
System Center Configuration Manager / Site
Database / Site Management / <site code> -
