You can start Resource Explorer to view collected client inventory properties by using the Configuration Manager console or programmatically from the Run dialog box or from the command line.

Note
You must have Read permission for the Collection security object class or instance to use resource explorer to view client inventory information from a collection.

To start Resource Explorer using the Configuration Manager console

  1. In the Configuration Manager console navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Collections.

  2. Expand Collections and select the collection that contains the client whose inventory you would like to view.

  3. Right-click the client name, click All Tasks, and then click Start Resource Explorer.
