License 01A - Microsoft License Ledger for Microsoft License Statements
This report lists the Microsoft products installed on computers in a specific collection that are licensed using a volume licensing model. The data is reported in a format similar to a Microsoft License Statement. This report contains the following columns.
- Licensed Family Name
- Licensed family names are indicative of the general role of the software, such as Microsoft Virtual Server Enterprise, Project Professional, or Windows Server - Standard.
- Licensed Product Name
- The licensed product name is the specific title of the software, such as Virtual Server - Enterprise 2005 or Windows Server - Standard 2003.
- Version Code
- The version code associated with the specific version.
- Inventoried Quantity
- The inventoried quantity represents the number of computers in
the inventoried collection on which the specific software is
installed.
Note This quantity does not reflect per-processor counts or multiple instances on a single computer.

This report presents a list of computers on which are installed the software item from a sales channel chosen from the License 01B - Microsoft License Ledger Item by Sales Channel report. This report contains the following columns.
- Computer Name
- The name associated with the listed computer.
- SMS Site
- The SMS site code.
- Top Console User
- The user, if any, who has used this computer more than 60 percent of the logged time, as computed from the system log using user log-on and log-off events.
- Serial Number
- The serial number associate with the listed computer.
- Asset Number
- The asset tag number assigned to the listed computer as listed in the computer's BIOS.
- Computer Manufacturer
- The name of the manufacturer as listed in the computer's BIOS.
- Computer Model
- The model of the computer.
- Product ID
- The ID number associated with this instance of the specified software.
- DSL ID
- If a Windows Installer or OSD deployment package is tagged with a property named DSL ID, the content of this property will be reported in this column. This provides one means of verification that software was distributed from an approved source.
License 01D - Microsoft License Ledger Products on a Specific Computer
This report identifies all Microsoft license ledger items installed on a specific computer. This report contains the following columns.
- Computer Name
- The name associated with the listed computer.
- Licensed Family Name
- Licensed family names are indicative of the general role of the software, such as Microsoft Virtual Server Enterprise, Project Professional, or Windows Server - Standard.
