Use this Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 dialog box to change a site's parent, which reconfigures your site hierarchy.

Note
Before changing the site's parent, ensure that an address to the new parent site is specified.

Central site

Makes the current site a central site (a site with no parent site).

Report to parent site

Makes the current site a child site of the site you specify. Type a site code or select one from the drop-down list.

Caution
If the site being added to the hierarchy uses the same site code that was previously used in the hierarchy, and if software distribution objects were modified since detachment, then software distribution objects might be overwritten or corrupted. For example, parent and child sites might have different definitions for the same package IDs. Carefully inspect any duplicates. After inspection, consider deleting packages that are no longer valid.
