Use the Distribution Points page in the Configuration Manager 2007 Download Updates Wizard to select the distribution points that are used to host the software update files defined in the new deployment package. After a package is created, distribution points are managed from the Distribution Points node under the associated package.
Important |
---|
When no distribution points are selected, the deployment is created and the software update file is downloaded to the source folder, but the update file will not be available to client computers until at least one distribution point is added to the package. |
Note |
---|
The Distribution Points page only displays when creating new deployment packages. Additional distribution points can be configured in the properties for the deployment package. |
