You can delete a device driver that has been imported into the driver catalog.

Note
Device drivers must be deleted one device driver at a time. There is no method to multi-select a group of device drivers for deletion.

Use the following procedure to delete a Windows device driver:

To disable a device driver

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Operating System Deployment / Drivers.

  2. To delete the device driver, locate the device driver in the Drivers pane and right-click the device driver and select Delete. Alternatively, select Delete in the Drivers Actions pane.

  3. In the Delete Driver dialog box confirm the device driver that will be deleted. Click Show Reference to display the driver packages that are associated with the selected device driver. To view the boot images associated with the selected device driver click the Boot Images tab.

  4. Click OK to complete the device driver deletion and close the Delete Driver dialog box.
