Use the General page in the Configuration Manager 2007 update list name properties dialog box to configure the name and description for the update list. For information about how to add software updates to an existing update list, see How to Add Software Updates to an Update List.
The General tab contains the following elements:
- Name
- Specifies the name for the update list. The name must be unique and should help to describe the software updates contained in the update list.
- Description
- Specifies the description for the update list. The description should provide an overview of what software updates are contained in the update list and information that helps to identify it among others in the Update List node of the Configuration Manager console.
