The Locate Site Database page of the Connect to Site Database Wizard is used to select a site database for the Configuration Manager console to reconnect or connect to.

This page contains the elements described in the following table.

Name Description

Reconnect to the site database for the following server

Use this option to reconnect the Configuration Manager console to a previously connected site server. By default, the previously connected site server name is displayed.

Connect to the site database for the following server

This option is used to enter a valid primary site server to connect to. You can either manually type in a computer name or click Browse to select from a list of computer names.

Note
When entering a site server name to connect to, you must enter the NetBIOS name of the site server computer. FQDN site server names are not supported for connecting the Configuration Manager console to the site server.

Load all console tree items (typical)

This option is used to display all Configuration Manager console tree items when the connection to a primary site server is made.

Select console items to be loaded (custom)

This option is used to customize the Configuration Manager console tree items displayed when the connection to a primary site server is made. Selecting this option will cause the Console Tree Items page to be displayed when you click Next.

Previous

Goes to the previous page of the wizard.

Next

Goes to the next page of the wizard.

Finish

Connects to the selected site database.

Cancel

Discards the settings, and exits the wizard.
