Use the Update Package page of the Virtual Application Package Update Wizard to specify the network location of the updated Mainifest XML file associated with upgraded sequenced application. The updated Manifest XML file is located in the directory specified when you upgraded the sequenced application using the Microsoft Application Virtualization Framework.

Name Description

Automated virtual application package update settings

Displays the name of the selected virtual application package that will be updated.

Specify the Upgraded Virtual Application Package Manifest XML file

Click Browse to specify the directory that contains the updated Manifest XML file. The updated Manifest XML file is created when you use the Microsoft Application Virtualization Framework to update or upgrade an existing sequenced package.

New Virtual Applications

Displays a list of application name and version information associated with the applications that will be contained in the updated version of the virtual application package.

Old Virtual Applications

Displays a list of application name and version information associated with the applications that are contained in the previous version of the virtual application package.

Next

Displays the next page of the wizard.

Cancel

Discards the settings and exits the wizard.
