Use the Data Access page in the Configuration Manager 2007 New Package Wizard to specify where Configuration Manager 2007 stores this package on distribution points and how it will be accessed.

Specifies whether users will access the package through the common Configuration Manager 2007 package share (SMSPKGx$, where x is the drive letter) on distribution points. This option is selected by default. |

Share distribution folder |
Specifies whether the package will be created on distribution points with an administrator-specified share and path name. Selecting this option requires a share name. |

Share name |
Specifies a share name or path to be created for the package source files on distribution points. This share name must be unique, even across package types, as duplicate share names may cause data corruption. Two options are available:
To control which drive a package folder is created on, you can assign the distribution point role to a server share rather than a server computer. For distribution points on server shares, if a share name is entered for a package, it is treated as a path beneath the distribution point share (\\MyServer\MyShare). Disconnect users from distribution points |
Specifies that users will be disconnected from distribution points when Configuration Manager 2007 updates package data. This check box is cleared by default. If this option is selected, the following settings are available:
