Two options are available when installing new sites using Configuration Manager 2007 Setup:
- Simple setup
- Custom setup
Simple Setup
The simple setup installation option installs a Configuration Manager 2007 primary site in either mixed or native mode and configures a single computer to host all the necessary site server roles. In most cases, simple setup should be used for evaluation purposes only. For more information about simple setup, see Simple Setup Overview.
Custom Setup
Custom setup allows greater flexibility in configuring site system and client agent settings. For more information about custom setup, see Custom Setup Overview.
