Name Description

Modify an existing user

Selects a user or group that has already been added to the Configuration Manager console.

Add a new user

Adds a user or group that exists in the Active Directory Domain Services database but has not yet been added to the Configuration Manager console.

Remove an existing user

Removes a user or group from the Configuration Manager console.

Browse

Opens the Select User, Computer, or Group dialog box to select a user from Active Directory Domain Services.

Note
When assigning security rights to users in forests different than the site server forest, and there is a two-way trust between the forests, if you use the Browse button to locate the user, the user name is entered as <FQDN>:3268\<username>. The :3268 after the fully qualified domain is not valid syntax and you cannot proceed until you delete the :3268 after the FQDN
